NEW STUDY! Parasym Plus™ for Multiple Sclerosis › Forums › PrettyIll.com Discussion › Orthopedic/Joint › Head tics
I am a thirty year old woman who has been diagnosed with Joint hypermobility syndrome (eds 3) and hypothyroidism.
I had tics develop in my late twenties, usually a head tic that involved a movement to the right. This tic could sometimes last a day or more and leave me with a very sore, stiff neck.
I was put on medication for generalised anxiety disorder as a consequence and they ceased. Except that I have woken up this morning because the same tic started up again randomly in my sleep and the movement of my head disturbed me enough to rouse me. I’m going to take some diazepam to help relax it.
Anyone else suffer these symptoms?
Thanks
Emski

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
