On your YouTube video entitled new protocol you mention IgE being used to diagnose mcas. Is that still the case?? Reason I ask is, I’ve been dx mcas mediator negative due to lack of mediators test results. But, my IgE is high…(425.3) when last checked. Baseline being 152. I also have responds well to protocol meds such as H1, H2, Cromolyn Sodium, Singlair, etc.

Tricky question, Pete! IgE can become a bit elevated when mast cells are activated BUT it is a nonspecific measurement, meaning it cannot be used to diagnose mast cell activation. It is often elevated to that degree from allergies, among other things. Does that make sense?
