Not sure if this is vertigo.

I’ve been experiencing slight slanting of my vision even when I’m wearing my glasses whenever I am stuck in a crowded place. Aside from the problem with my vision, I’ve been experiencing this nauseating feeling and slight shivers.

Hi Jemsalva, I’m not exactly sure what this means but have a couple of thoughts. If it is with your glasses on, it could be because of a correction for astigmatism. You’ll want to reach out to your prescribing doctor to help figure that out. It is not vertigo (with vertigo, it seems like the room is moving, although you are still). If it is a correction for astigmatism (either correctly or incorrectly put in your glasses, you can absolutely have symptoms of nausea, etc. smile

Hello Dr. Diana, thank you for clearing these things out. Due to my tight schedule, I wasn’t able to immediately see a doctor for consultation. This is getting serious since I’ve experienced a minor car accident a week ago.  Good thing no one got hurt and only my car’s fender flares received damage that time. I’ll make sure to have an appointment after Thanksgiving so I could get a new prescription or correction lens for my glasses and see if there’s more problem than what I experience with my vision. Thank you so much, I appreciate the help.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Elke! This is a labor of love, certainly. I know too well how hard it can be to get answers, validation, and support. It has been many years and almost 1,500 questions answered! Whew! I am so, so grateful for the others who pop on to help answer questions too.
This has always been a grassroots effort—everyone trying to help each other. xxoo
