I know. We feel exasperated by their “lack of knowledge”, which is what it boils down to. The fact that many of them are unwilling to listen which, if they did, would help them to identify the CORRECT path of investigation, leaves us in despair, with little hope of ever getting to the truth. That’s is all we want at the end of the day, the truth of what is happening in our bodies, to make them malfunction, so we can start the CORRECT treatment plan.
Chucking the wrong tests at us, does not help! Now I’m not saying it’s an easy task because Dr Diana for one, has proved it’s not. It takes them DAYS of investigation at Pots Care to get at the truth. Why the general medical fraternity has become so complacent I just don’t know, perhaps it’s because there is no incentive for them to help – i.e. they get paid whether or not they find out what’s making you ill. It’s that that’s crazy!
Oh, one thing I stumbled on here in the UK, there was a gross shortfall of Neurologists, so they allowed psychologists in through the back door, so to speak, to take neurology posts – how mad is that!
I am so sorry to hear of your latest diagnosis but I was once told that pre-cancerous changes in the body take place because of severe stress. Surely, being left to suffer for years, puts anyone under severe stress.
