Jamie when you scrape the white stuff of is it red and irritated underneath? Sometimes it will bleed some too. Also, is all over your mouth or just the tongue. If it is thrush then the doctors can give you a special nystatin mouth wash. Stay away from OTC mouth washes because they make things worst. If fact they are bad for everyday use. If the Nystatin does not work they can give you an oral anti fungal like Fluconazole. It needs to be treated if y’all have thrush because it can spread down your throat and will become quite painful. Also, if you have it your husband will need to be treated too so, it does not keep getting passed around.
