I read on another post that Dr. D. recommends soft cervical pillow. I had used this despite my chiropractor saying “Oh no, don’t do that, not recommended at all”. However, it DOES work if I wear it loosely – it follows my movements during the night and provides my cervicals support. If I don’t wear it, I find myself hanging off the edge of my pillow and almost afraid to move. It also keeps my clavicles from riding upwards which helps my shoulder pain.
I’ve also stopped trying to keep up with other people. Before I knew of the legitimacy of my problems, I tried to hike mountains and work as hard as others. Not happening. I now alternate 1 hour of physical activity with 1/2 hour passive work whenever I can. Thank goodness I’m organized! This is the first forum on which I’ve ever posted because I’m so grateful.

What others say

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
