Hi Shelly, Everyone is different, of course, and if you do well on a small dose, then AWESOME. Many of us need double the usual doses (we take what it says on the box, but take it twice a day, not once a day) — at least for a while. If you respond well, it may be important to switch to stabilizers as often as possible, rather than use antihistamines every day, all year. A typical dose combination is Zantac 150mg twice a day with Zyrtec 10mg twice a day. In the book, you’ll read about some of the problems with staying on these long term. But for many of us, they are life-savers. 🙂
