If you have eye problems, have you been referred to a neuro-ophthalmologist yet? – if not I’d ask your GP for a referral. Ask the neuro-ophthalmologist to look for SUBTLE signs of raised intra-cranial pressure, as they are often not blatant. If they see the signs, they are likely to prescribe Diamox, to reduce the pressure.
While waiting for your appointment, it may be worth going to have some ‘fundus’ photos taken at your local optician (ask them if you can have a copy, before they take them, then they can set you up access online maybe). Vision Express took mine, they charge £10 that’s all. You can then either enlarge them on your computer, or get them enlarged when you get them printed out. You can also check them yourself, before you visit the Neuro-ophthalmologist, if needs be.
It will also be useful to take a description of your head issues and a list of your eye issues (along with notes on when they happen, what you are doing when they happen, any accompanying symptoms at the time they happen, etc) on a sheet to leave with the Neuro-ophthalmologist.
