Hi Barb, Thanks for your reply! So how long did it take to get approved (from first date of disability to approval? from date of filing to approval?)

From dealing with my employers third party disability group, I currently have all of the medical records provided to me. My problem is some of my doctors & specialists don’t write up office notes. Because of this I’ve asked them to write a letter for me. Also, last year I was keeping both weekly then monthly health journals that I would get signed by one of my doctors. Since these were not being accepted by the disability group I was working with, I stopped getting them signed by my doctor. Will the SSDI review personal journals & documentation?

My biggest question I am debating right now is should I submit my initial application myself or get an attorney / another group such as ALLSUP to be involved from the beginning?

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
