I always crave sugar when my pain is worse, but have just assumed that is because that is how I learned early on to comfort myself, by using food.vHowever, I have also read that sugar acts on the opiate receptors inthe brain, so can make you temporarily feel better. As sugar is known to aggravate inflamation, induce premature aging and a host of other ills,it is most likely better avoided or consumed in moderation. Need to take my own advice, have become quite the sugar addict!!
