Our 16 year old son was diagnosed with POTS in Sept 2015. He was referred to the Mayo Clinic. When there, the end of January, he actually passed the tilt table test. They did not change his diagnosis. I asked about Parasym Plus (PP) and our doctor would not discuss with us as it is not on their approved supplement list. I did take the bottle to our pharmacist who said it was safe to take with the medications he is on (Amitriptylin and Fludrocort both taken prior to going to bed)
It is not clear to me by reading the bottle when he should be taking this. Should he take first thing in the morning?
He had non-stop dizziness and nausea throughout the days. That is mostly under control with the medications and exercise. One area we have not seen improvement on is eating, weight gain and fatigue.
He has stopped losing weight (dropped over 20 pounds in the last year). He says he is not hungry most of the time and when he is hungry he can only eat a small amount and then he feels full.
Although he is tired all the time, the mornings are by far the worst.
I hope PP works for him. I would like some advise on how many pills, when and how often he should take.
Thank you….
