Hi Corey, I’m afraid I don’t have a pharmacy (nor am I a pharmacist). Your pharmacist can likely answer your questions more accurately than I can, but as a patient I will tell you that ketotifen is not an exact substitute for cromolyn, but it does have both antihistamine and mast cell/eosinophil calming properties. Many of us end up with ketotifen for many reasons — not the least of which is the expense and bother with cromolyn!
