Thanks for your reply! Well, I’ve had this for 10 years with no real diagnosis. I get really dizzy but i have never passed out/fainted. No hypermobility. I actually believe that it is POTS, no symptoms of dysautonomia either. I have had GERD in the past, in regards to G.I. problems but that hasn’t been an issue for a couple of years now.
I had seen my cardiologist after my 2 week holter monitor and he had diagnosed me with extra heartbeats. The next time i saw him he had changed him mind and diagnosed me with inappropriate sinus tachycardia. He said that everything is structurally sound and it will just eventually go away on its own.
I just saw my GP to get a referral for a different cardiologist. This new cardiologist has incredible reviews and my GP had studied with him in university. So, i should be seeing him in the next 6 months or so.
I was also wondering if you think bisoprolol is the right medication for someone with either POTS or inappropriate sinus tachycardia? I know it is primarily used to control high blood pressure and I have never had issues with my blood pressure.
Thank you for your insight!
Happy Holidays 🙂
