I am not sure what you are eating- but, with Abby we kept a food diary. Anything that triggered those symptoms we removed. There are a lot of moderate histamine and moderate histamine foods that are often not listed commonly. Cinnamon was one we had to remove right away- she has such a huge list!

Abby has allergies, intolerances, cross reactivity, oral allergy, and histamine intolerance- needless to say the list is ENORMOUS that we have had to remove. My favorite book for lists and charts and explaining all the potentials with different foods/chemicals is,

Dealing With Food Allergies by Janice Vickerstaff Joneja PhD, RD. That book is what I call the allergy/food bible! 🙂

I believe on the Mastocytosis Canada website on either their links or resources page there is a link to her clinic. I don’t think I have found anything written by her that discusses autonomic,POTS etc but she “gets” MCAD’s.

Keep in mind, for everything you remove, you have to consider a worthy nutritional substitute. A full elimination diet should be supervised by a Dr. or specialized nutritionist.

What others say

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
