Hi Susan, Although I’m not aware of any problems with sodium bicarbonate and Klonopin, your questions reminds me of something important. If we are taking Diamox longer than a few weeks at a time, it is important to involve a nephrologist or urologist to help us avoid kidney stones (that specialist can also guide you about any contraindications). Although I put a lot of ideas in the book, having your urine and blood monitored is so important. Fingers crossed that you, like many of us, do not need Diamox long-term, but if you do, those specialists are an important part of our medical team.

What others say

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
