I’ve heard vitamin C helps when taking Diamox, also my neuro-opthalmologist advised a banana a day to keep my potassium up. You probably already know the following but I’ll mention it anyway for those who don’t – you have to watch your blood potassium and bicarb levels don’t get too low. Dr D and many others take a little bicarbonate of soda in capsules that they make up themselves, for when their bicarb drops.
You’re not supposed to take Aspirin whilst on Diamox but I thought I’d read somehwere that a maintenance dose of 75mg may be ok – but can I heck as find the documentation on this! You’d be best asking your pharmacist about this and about what other drugs are contra-indicated.
