    Hi ya,

What does the question “dancing lines ” mean?

I downloaded the survey, but it only opened in text edit. I filled it out and now when I open it it is not formatted the same way :(((. Can somebody maybe email it to me at jill@ihug.co.nz

I have a very old version of word on my mac and that could be the problem. I may have to go to a friends house to do it again. I don’t have pages either – so that doesn’t help.

if someone can save it to a version of word pre 2006, and email that would be great.

    Hi ya,

What does the question “dancing lines ” mean?

Great question! Personally, I’ve never experienced this before, but patients who do explain it in just that way — “the lines are moving, dancing around”… “seeing spiders” and the appearance of textures making you feel weird is another symptom that I can’t personally relate to. But it is out there! Better yet, I believe I know what it means for us, especially in conjunction with other symptoms. Thank you for taking the time to work on this… 🙂

Hon, if it is easier for you, feel free to print it out, fill it out by hand, and either scan it and shoot it to me, or drop it in snail mail (address on the contact page of my website. Will that work? 🙂

I’ve come up with a list of potential symptoms, and would be so grateful if you could print it, complete it, and shoot it back to me (directions are on the handout). This is called “Symptoms Checklist” under “Articles and Handouts” (see that on the far right-hand column?). Please feel free to share this with anyone affected, and it would be GREAT if you could help older relatives or friends who may have never had their condition properly diagnosed. My mom, for example, is more hypermobile than I am, has mast cell disease, easy bruising, etc, but no one ever linked her issues to EDS or dysautonomia before (even though she has had 22 surgeries!). Thank you so much, my friends… 🙂 Diana

I mailed my symptoms checklist last week to the address on the contact page (copy and pasted below)and it was returned in my snail mail today as “undeliverable as addressed and unable to forward”. I have it addressed exactly as it is below. What is up? HELP! I’ve posted on other boards to snail mail it to this address too. Yikes!

    Hi ya,

What does the question “dancing lines ” mean?

GREAT question, Jill! I’ve never experienced this, but patients who have know immediately what this refers to. So, if it seems weird, likely, you haven’t experienced it! I can explain more about it when I release the results, OK? 😉

    2) @Dr. Diana: Which e-mail address should I use to mail the checklist to? (The one in Your Public Profile isn’t working? Might be just a connection problem.)

    Kind regards,
    Kate

Hi Kate! You can return to me at “volunteers@Prettyill.com” or at the address on the contact page of the website, OK? Is that connection working OK for you? Thanks so much!

I’m so sorry! The new mailman sort of missed Suite #400! I believe all was straightened out a while ago… Thank you so much for the heads up on that! 🙂
