Anyone else waking up in post-op looking like the devil himself? I am 12/12 in this arena, am EDS hypermobile with POTS. I’m not usually a terrible bruiser either, compared to what I read here. I figure this happens because the eye tissues are fragile and contain a lot of collagen, but I don’t see where others are experiencing this as I do. I’ve also noticed that the longer I’m knocked out, the worse the bleed is in appearance. Surgeons have never been able to explain why it’s happening other than random guesses – but 12 times in 12 different surgeries? The heck?

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
