Hello there,
I am just posting to ask about cerebrospinal fluid leaks and ICP issues. I have EDS type 3. I experienced a red bump that seemed to be full of fluid on the back of my head for several years when my health was at its worst – about an inch diameter. I also had many symptoms of high ICP. I am wondering whether cerebrospinal fluid leaks can manifest in this way at all? Would love to know if anyone has had anything similar going on!
Also I’d like to ask if anyone has any more info on the connection between vitamin A and raised ICP. I have had low vit A levels and need to make extra sure they stay in the healthy zone now. So I take a supplement, but I am obviously not wanting to take too much. I became aware of the vit A/ICP connection reading Dr Diana’s book. So I would like to ask please – does anyone know the kind of intake levels that can potentially raise ICP? Would this only be really high doses? And if you need the vit A (i.e. you’re deficient), is a high dose of vit A still just as hazardous for raising ICP?
Hope you can help!
With all best wishes,
Minnie
