One more question :)!
I spoke with my doctor about Cromolyn Sodium and Ketotifen as mast cell stabilizers.
He was a bit confused about the Cromolyn Sodium as he said this would only be effective for histamine in my lungs and nowhere else in my body.
He had never heard of Ketotifen but he looked it up and said it’s not even available to purchase in the US.
Is he correct about his two assumptions?
Thanks in advance!
Hey, Nick! It will make more sense to your doctor to ask him about Gastrocrom (the form of cromolyn for GI issues). Ketotifen needs to be made either by a compounding pharmacist or ordered on-line. 🙂
