NEW STUDY! Parasym Plus™ for Multiple Sclerosis › Forums › PrettyIll.com Discussion › POTS › Hyperadrenergic pots and being a hypochondriac with ocd
Im curious if im one of the only people to have a major anxiety disorder as well as pots. Ive had health anxiety since i was 11 and having pots doesn’t help me at all. For the past couple of weeks i have been convinced im dying and the panic attacks with the hyperadgneric spells is a complete nightmare! Every symptom i get i obsess over and i just dont have the energy to deal with pots and an extreme anxiety disorder as well its overwhelming! I have faith ill get better but any advice would help.
I take klonopin as needed so “a lot”
Going back on zoloft on 25mg for now hope it helps with the ocd
Tried parasym plus in the past had a bad panic attack because of symptoms that came and my body just freaked out! im sure it had nothing to do with it but just dont want to trigger a panic attack in anyway cant take them anymore, they are very draining.
I pray everyone gets better and i hope you will all do the same for me.
I’ll be praying for you. I think POTS can CAUSE panic disorders and OCD because your brain when it isn’t getting enough blood or oxygen will naturally signal production of excess levels of stress hormones. Have you been able to get a script for Diamox and try that?
I struggle with all the symptoms you do and it’s horrific
My ocd and anxiety are a trillion times worse with Hyperadrenergic pots

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
