Please check out the new vid! Tal used his engineering background to help the doctors repair his aorta (he has Marfans)! Inspiring! He also shares the numerous obstacles he had to overcome in order to be accepted into old-school medicine. This is not unlike a therapeutic optometrists changing ideas behind numerous chronic illness, my friends. His obstacles start at minute nine. I think we’ll all be able to relate!
Oh yes, the arrogance, I’ll happily wager that we’ve all experienced that! This guy sums it up perfectly, doesn’t he?
Tal has had to be pro-active in managing and saving his own life, much like what we’re having to do, in the absence of appropriate medical attention from mainstream doctors. . . . but thanks to your help Dr Diana, I think we’ve a good chance of making it through!

You are so right, Barb! Fortunately, there are many wonderful doctors out there, who know that no one knows everything about the human body! Humility and an eagerness to learn more (with an open mind) are wonderful traits in any physician, yet Tal had to work with all kinds! Perseverance — we all need to dig deep, I know, but it is a quality we must continue to cultivate in ourselves. Barb, you are too kind. YOU, my friend, are a shining example of that!:) Diana

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
