Does anyone know why salt and mineral levels get depleted? A recent blood test showed that I have very low sodium and a problem with the mineral base in my body. I have been advised to restrict the amount of water that I drink and add salt to my food but that doesn’t make me feel good at all. I thought this may be due to CSF leak or intracranial pressure because an upright scan showed a Chiari 0. (I’m seeing a Neurologist this week so hope to get a diagnosis).

I have been taking Vitamin C and Zinc and having Epsom salt baths as recommended by Dr Diana in her book. Also, I’ve been taking a probiotic to help with digestion of nutrients as I’m very weak even though I eat well. Any other tips would be much appreciated.

    Best wishes
