Wondering if anybody here uses a service dog. I know EDSers who do, but wanted to see if anybody here did.

I go get my new service doin training puppy April 14th. I am very excited. I have been encouraged by others to train my own given my background. I have been fundraising like crazy to cover start up expenses. If anybody wants to check out the online auction I have some wonderful items that were donated. Bidding is open till the 8th. http://www.32auctions.com/Mon

Anyway, if a body else has a SD I’d love to talk.

Palomino, I have 2 service dogs — my kids. Ha. I’m SO excited for you!!! I bet yours will work better than mine. Mine aren’t all that reliable. They’re cute, though!
Hmm, no responses yet. You may be opening many eyes to the possibility! Everyone, please check out her auction! 🙂 Diana

Auction over. I have a service child too but she’s at her dads half the time. Besides, service dogs are more widely accepted.

Puppy has a blog though. http://talvitheservicedog.blogspot.com/

Cool! I’ll check it out! I understand about the service dogs being more widely accepted. I’ve gotten some nasty stares at the store — like people have never seen kids on a leash before!! ha. 🙂

I’ve got my pet dog and my doggy Coco also been through with dog service. It is cool knowing my pet is learning and trained according to what I want. In fact i purchased my dog leashes and collars at hotdogcollars.com so it could use for training

    This is my service dog!

Not everyone likes him and threats against his life have been made in public places. Here is another video clip about him.

What others say

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
