Hello all,
Do any of you do yoga? I recently started doing some yoga practice as a way to strengthen my joints. I was terrified of it for the longest time because I used to always have something sublex every time I did it. Now I’m more able to go easy on my joints and focus on strengthening the muscles instead of just stretching. I was surprised to find how tight a lot of my muscles are due to the strain of compensating for the loose joints. Obviously, I can’t always do it, it just depends on how functional I am on any given day, but doing what I can with it does seem to be helping.
I’m also curious how many others in this group are still able to work. My symptoms definitely get worse and then slack off and repeat, so I’m able to work since I can make my own schedule and I have a partner who can share the load with me. How about you?
All the best,
Megha

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
