My daughter just started Parasym Plus, and she is on a Benzo for stomach spasms as well as Ketotifen and Zantac and other meds for pain. Prior to 2 days ago she couldn’t eat anything. At all. Her weight has plummeted significantly. My question is – if she is having such intense stomach spasms that she cannot eat much of anything, will Parasym Plus stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system to make that worse? Or does stimulating that calm things down? (She has been reacting to EVERYTHING). Is that too dumb of a question? I don’t really understand how it works. She takes 1/2 pill twice a day, up from 1/4 pill. Also, do you have to take it with meals? She does seem better today! I’m not sure if it is the Parasym Plus, but I’m hopeful.

“Dr. Diana will always hold a very special place in my heart for her selfless devotion to helping everyone, not just the Ehlers-Danlos community. I hate to think what my life would be without her insight and guidance.”
