It seems that I have bright flashes that come across my vision from the side, but this even happens when my eye’s are closed. I do not feel that it is an ocular migraine as it happens sometimes with movement of my head. I have been checked an nothing is wrong with my eyes. Does anyone else experience this?

Hi Wendy, this sounds like a vitreal detachment (assuming your doctor ruled out retinal detachment). Retinal detachments need to be addressed on an urgent basis, but most vitreal detachments are benign. They need to be monitored as long as you are experiencing flashes of light, though, to be sure they don’t result with a retinal detachment. I hope this helps! 🙂
