Is is possible that sinus medication (i.e. Advil Cold & Sinus) might offer some relief for external communicating hydrocephalus? I do not have this diagnosis, but suspect it is a problem. I have chronic headache/migraine, pressure-type headaches and fullness and pain in ears, pain around eyes, neck and back of head, have felt like fluid is moving in my head, etc., etc…. I have had several scans which show the sinuses are ‘remarkably’ clear, but discovered that the sinus medication oftentimes helps with the pressure and pain. Any thoughts?
Quite possibly, as Sudafed relieves sinus pressure, pain and congestion related to the common cold, allergies or other sinus problems and I notice that Dr Diana mentions this medication in a few of her posts:-
